This policy explains how BareNaked Portfolios LLC (“BareNaked Portfolios,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit the Platform, create an account, purchase a subscription, or contact us.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, account settings, login information, and authentication information.
• Subscription & billing — plan, billing history, payment status, and subscription status. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers, but Stripe may collect and process payment information according to its own privacy and security practices.
• Usage information — pages viewed, login times, device and browser type, IP address, feature usage, and how often and from how many devices your account makes requests.
• How you found us — the link or website that first brought you to the Platform, such as an ad or a partner’s link, recorded with your account when you sign up.
• Communications — support emails, feedback, and questions you send us.
• Cookies & similar technologies — as described in the Cookie section below.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to operate and improve the Platform, authenticate users, process subscriptions, provide support, secure accounts, enforce fair-use limits and detect account sharing or automated copying, analyze usage, send service messages, enforce our Terms, comply with legal obligations, and protect the rights and safety of BareNaked Portfolios, Subscribers, and others.

3. How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us operate the Platform — including hosting, payment processing, email delivery, bot protection, and customer support — which process it on our behalf and as needed to provide their services. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google receives sign-in information in order to authenticate you. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to prevent fraud or misuse, in connection with a business transfer, or with your consent. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising networks, retargeting or ad pixels (such as Meta, Google or LinkedIn), or third-party tracking services. To count visits to our public pages and to see how quickly pages load and respond, we use privacy-friendly analytics provided by our hosting provider. They set no cookies and do not identify individual visitors. Visit counts cover only visitors who are not signed in. Page-speed measurements cover signed-in visitors too, but not sign-in pages, and record only the page and its timings, without any query string. Both report to us in aggregate. BareNaked Portfolios does not connect to, collect, or store information about your own brokerage accounts.

4. Security & retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure — you are responsible for a strong password and safeguarding your credentials. We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We aim to collect only the information reasonably needed to operate the Platform, and to retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

5. Your choices & rights

You can update account information in your settings and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link (transactional and service messages may still be sent while your account is active). Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or portability of your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, reach us through our contact form. We may verify your identity before responding.

6. Children

The Platform is intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not permit anyone under 18 to create an account or subscribe. The Platform is not directed to children under 13, and if we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

7. Cookies & similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device; similar technologies can include local storage and device identifiers. We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, protect your account, remember your display preferences, and diagnose problems.

• Essential — required for login, security, subscription status, and core functionality. These include a cookie that limits repeated failed sign-in attempts (one hour), and one that remembers you started from an offer page, so signing in takes you back to that offer (seven days).
• Preference — remember settings such as theme and display choices, stored in your browser.
• How you found us — if you arrive through a link that names a campaign (for example, an ad) or from another website, a first-party cookie remembers which one for up to 90 days, and we record it with your account if you sign up. It tells us which of our advertising and partners bring people to the Platform.
• Referrals — if you follow a member’s referral link, a first-party cookie remembers their referral code for up to 90 days, so the referral can be credited if you subscribe.

Every cookie we use is set by us, is not shared with anyone, and is not used to follow you across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies, and the visit counting described in section 3 uses no cookies at all. If that changes, we will update this policy before the change takes effect.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking essential cookies may prevent the Platform from working properly.
