Subscription & Billing Policy

This policy explains how BareNaked Portfolios LLC subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds work. It is incorporated into the Terms of Use.

1. Plans and pricing

BareNaked Portfolios currently offers a monthly subscription at $14.95 per month. Available plans, pricing, features, and billing intervals are shown at checkout and in your account area. Prices do not include applicable taxes, if any, unless stated at checkout. We may change available plans or pricing for future billing periods.

2. Automatic renewal

Unless canceled before the renewal date, your subscription renews automatically at the then-current rate and interval. By subscribing, you authorize BareNaked Portfolios and its payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Before you are charged, the checkout page discloses the subscription price, billing frequency, automatic-renewal terms, cancellation method, and refund policy. By subscribing, you consent to those recurring billing terms.

3. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We may receive payment status, billing history, and limited payment details, but we do not store full credit card numbers.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel anytime in your account settings, or by messaging us through our contact form. Canceling is as easy as subscribing. Cancellation stops future billing; unless stated otherwise, access continues through the end of the current paid period.

After you cancel, you should receive confirmation by email or in your account area. If you do not, please contact us.

5. Refunds

Unless required by law or expressly stated in a promotional offer, subscription fees are non-refundable, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. We may, at our discretion, issue credits or refunds in unusual circumstances such as duplicate charges, billing errors, or other account issues.

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us promptly through our contact form so we can review it.

6. Failed payments & price changes

If a payment fails, we or our payment processor may retry the charge and request updated payment information, and may suspend or terminate access if payment is not completed. If a price change affects your renewal, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you before the new price takes effect where required by law or payment-processor rules.

7. Free trials and promotional offers

If BareNaked Portfolios offers a free trial, discounted trial, promotional rate, or introductory offer, the offer terms are disclosed at checkout — including when the trial or promotional period ends, the amount and frequency of future charges, and how to cancel before you are charged or before the promotional rate ends.

8. No performance-based fees

Subscription fees are charged for access to publishing content and platform features only. We do not charge fees based on your assets, brokerage accounts, individual performance, or personalized investment management.

9. Pausing your subscription

Instead of canceling, you may pause a paid subscription for 1, 2 or 3 months from the Billing tab of your account settings. A subscription that is already set to end, or that is in a free trial, cannot be paused.

While your subscription is paused, access to subscriber content stops and you are not charged. The unused part of the billing period you paused in is kept as a credit and applied to your first invoice after the pause ends; it is not refunded.

Your subscription resumes automatically on the date shown when you paused, and billing restarts from that day at the then-current rate. You can resume early at any time from the same tab. If you cancel while paused, your subscription ends at once and nothing further is charged.
