Is BareNaked Portfolios real money or a model portfolio?: BareNaked Portfolios trades real money. The account holds our own capital at a live brokerage, with no outside investors and no hypothetical model. Every buy and sell is the account’s actual trade, imported from the broker.
Does BareNaked Portfolios publish its losing trades as well as winners?: Yes. Every BareNaked Portfolios trade is in the transaction history, whether it closed at a realized gain or loss. The trade log comes from the broker and is never edited by hand, so a losing trade is not quietly removed after the fact.
How often does BareNaked Portfolios buy and sell stocks?: BareNaked Portfolios trades on no fixed schedule. The portfolio is growth-oriented and acts when a position’s momentum or risk changes. Holding cash while market leadership is unclear is part of the plan, so quiet stretches are deliberate rather than a pause.
What happens at the end of the BareNaked Portfolios Founding Offer?: Nothing is charged at the end of the 30-day Founding Offer, because no card is taken to start it. On day 30, founding members choose whether to subscribe at the founding monthly price or to stop. Access ends unless they subscribe.
